The Prime minister has advised some preventive measures to combat this deadly virus and asked us to stay safe at our home. The speech went for half an hour to explain to the citizens of India that why we should take this situation seriously and take precautions for it. He also stretched upon social distancing for the welfare of the people.

So, now let’s head into the precautions or preventive measures we should take in this global pandemic.

Social Distancing

Our respected Prime Minister has advised us to stay at home and avoid going out unless it is essential. He has asked us to take social distancing seriously and avoid going for group gatherings. Social distancing is an effective measure to combat the deadly virus. This measure is undertaken by many countries as a precaution and has succeeded in controlling the pandemic situation. Many celebrities have also started spreading the message and appealed to their fans for social distancing. This measure will totally help us to not get infected by other people. So go quarantine and start maintaining social distance with your friends and relatives.

Work from Home

In this digital era, now it’s possible for many people to work from home. So, why not take advantage of technology and save ourselves from getting infected. The people are advised to ask their employees to work from home and don’t visit the office unless it is very crucial. The PM urged people to stop going to offices and stay at home. He also appealed to pay the daily wages to the workers working for us and not cut their pay for the sake of humanity. Because they also have a family and also have to run their house. In this critical situation, it is our responsibility to help each other. So, work from home to stay safe and spend some quality time with your family.

 Avoid Panic Buying

Narendra Modi Ji also mentioned in his speech to stop panic buying. He said that there is no need to panic and buy essential goods in high quantities as the supplies will remain as it is. There will be no shortage of goods and essentials will be available in the market. So, there is no need to stock up your home with goods. This can really affect the supply so avoid panic buying and buy as much as you need. Do your routine shopping. Also, spread this message over the phone or using social media and stay away from fake news. And please do not panic because there is no need to. We all are in this and we will definitely overcome it soon.

Do not visit the hospital for routine check-ups

In this global pandemic, avoid going to hospitals or clinics for routine check-ups. It is not the time for people going out or visiting doctors who could be busy treating needy patients. Unless it is important, talk to your family doctor or your relative doctors over the phone who could advise you. The PM also appealed to people to postpone their elective surgeries for a month at least. Right now, doctors should be busy treating virus-infected people and needy people whose treatment is important. Even doctors need to be safe, so it becomes our responsibility to act sensible and visit them unless it is important.

Covid-19 Economic Response Task-Force

Covid-19 has a huge impact on our country’s economy too. Daily wagers and laborers are the most affected people in this situation. They will not get their daily wages which is a huge problem for the country. So, our Prime Minister has hired Covid-19 Economic Response Task-Force who will research and will take effective measures to help the citizens of India. You do not need to worry because effective decisions will be taken at the right time and we have a solid team to our disposal who will handle the situation correctly.

Show Gratitude

On the day of Janta Curfew, we are urged by our Prime Minister to show our gratitude to the people who are working day and night for us to combat the deadly virus. So, it’s our time to show our gratitude. So, on 22nd March Sunday at 5 pm, The PM asked the citizens to go to their balconies and clap for the people who are still working and risking their lives just for us. So, people do not forget to show your gratitude to the people who believe in serving others even in this critical situation. Hence appreciate and help the people around you and respect them for being so brave for working in this critical situation.

So, this was all about the Janta Curfew that will take place on 22nd March Sunday. Please do follow all the preventive measures mentioned by our Prime Minister to combat this deadly virus. We need to be more aware and alert in this situation to fight against this pandemic. India needs to stay strong and prevent this virus to enter our nation. We all are in this crucial stage so we need to undertake the precautions to keep ourselves healthy. The PM also stated that if we are healthy then everybody in this country will be healthy.
