Samsung recently announced its mid-range mobile phone Galaxy A42 5G along with Galaxy Tab A7 and wireless charger Tio on Wednesday. This phone is the successor of the Galaxy A41 that was launched earlier this year.
This phone is touted as the cheapest 5G smartphone by the company. The device was announced in the virtual event called ‘Life unstoppable’. In the event, the company shared some of the pictures of the phone along with some specs and promised to deliver the rest sometime later.
As far as other specs are concerned, the Galaxy A42 will come in 6.6 inches Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. We are not being disclosed with the resolution of the panel but it is expected to have an FHD+ panel just like its predecessor.
The phone comes with a quad rear camera setup at the back. The sensor details are still unknown but the last tiny one seems to be a depth sensor. In terms of the design, the smartphone features a dual-tone printed texture at the back. While the front has a boxy design with slim bezels around the side. The phone would be available in black and may come packed with a 5000 mAh battery with some sort of fast charging support.
The other specifications are not officially announced but according to some reports, the phone may come with a 48-megapixel camera at back and run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 690 processor with at least 4GB of RAM. You can expect the company to offer Galaxy A42 in 64GB and 128 GB variants.
