Netflix released the second installment of the movie ‘The kissing booth 2’ on 24th of July, 2020. The first part of the movie was much loved and appreciated by the audience. The movie had everything one expects from an entertainer movie, it had drama, romance and little funny moments which made this movie adorable. The first part of the movie revolved around the main three characters named Elle, Lee and Noah. Elle and Lee are introduced as childhood best friends and while Noah is introduced as the elder brother of Lee. In the movie, Elle and Noah fall in love with each other and on the other side Elle is scared to tell about her love story to her best friend Lee. The whole drama, romance and confusions made the movie relatable to teens and hence gained its popularity.
The second part of the movie is connected with the first one. The kissing booth starts where the first part ends. Both Noah and Elle are seen managing their long-term relationship and encountering temptations in their lives. Elle finds herself lonely in the school without Noah while Noah asks her to apply for the same college he studies in so that they can be together. In between this mess, Elle finds herself third-wheeling with his best friend Lee and his girlfriend Rachel. While unknowingly she bothers Rachel for being too close with Lee, making Rachel struggle to get the attention of Lee. And the only thing Rachel wishes to have alone time with him. In the meantime, both the characters Elle and Noah encounter their temptation in their lives. Noah finds his friend Chloe attractive and Elle witnesses a hot guy in her class. Other than this, it becomes hard for her to maintain a long-distance relationship with Noah due to trust issues. Will Noah and Elle be able to manage their relationship?
