Google Pixel 5 has become the most awaited phone of the year. After the Google Pixel 4 debacle, everyone is eagerly waiting for the Google Pixel 5. According to some rumors, Google Pixel 5 will not be a flagship phone. The phone is going to use a Snapdragon 765 G chipset which supports 5G but it is not Qualcomm’s best chip. With Google Pixel 4, Google made some great moves by adding excellent cameras, ultra-fast face unlock feature and some other great features too but with a bad battery which made it less recommendable. And that’s why there is a huge excitement regarding the Pixel 5 phone’. Will it improve its battery life and would give us a great user experience just like Pixel 4? These questions can only be answered after their release.
Now coming to its release date, it is expected to be released in the month of October. You must be thinking why this month. So to give you some context, every pixel phone was released in the month of October. And the last release of the Pixel 4 was made on 15th October 2019. Due to pandemic, maybe Google will not have a physical launch event of the phone but can have a virtual event just like Apple had.
Coming to its specifications, it is assumed that Google Pixel 5 will be Google’s first phone to have 3 rear cameras just like Google Pixel 4 was the first one to have 2 rear cameras. Pixel 4 had motion sense gestures( powered by the Google Soli Radar system) that were used to snooze an alarm clock, control music playback, and dismiss incoming calls. It was a fun feature but it got a bad response from the consumers. Now it is assumed that Pixel 5 will give up this motion sensor gesture, as on May 15, Stephen Hall from 9to5Google reported that “Pixel will likely leave behind hobbies like Soli”
Due to pandemic, many phone launches have been stalled and Google Pixel 5 is one of them. So this is all we know about Google Pixel 5 phone.
