5 effective ways to work from home during COVID-19

The Coronavirus outbreak has put the lives of many of us on halt. Facing COVID-19 pandemic has become the biggest challenge in Economy.

It has forced companies to implement a work from home overnight, which is very difficult for everyone. For many of us, working from home can be very unproductive and unrestful

Lack of energy is one of the challenges of working from home.

Staying focused and productive, keeping our motivation levels up, not getting distracted and ignoring interruptions are all things we struggle while in this period of time where we all are working from home.

It’s always better to just start doing stuff, as you’ll see below. For keeping your energy for the whole day, here are some tips that really work:

1. Stick to a Routine

A routine can be a big help when it comes to boosting your energy levels. Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, and your body will get used to it. You’ll fall asleep and wake up more easily and feel more well-rested when you get up.

2. Work while standing.

Don’t just take my word for it. It’s science-backed. Plenty of studies have found that working from a standing desk improves not just productivity but also health.

3. Get moving

When you’re doing work on your laptop, especially if it’s something repetitive, rather boring you can easily feel sleepy. To get your focus and energy back, get up and do something.

Declutter a bit, make a snack for yourself or just a coffee! Call up a friend and talk to him by walking the house. Any type of movement would be beneficial to your energy levels. That’s a quick trick whenever you start feeling lazy but have more work to do.

4. Snack strategically.

Eat in small portions. A big meal, however, especially one rich in carbs, would ruin productivity. It will even feel like napping right after it and no work is usually done after that.

5. Take Regular Breaks

If you are struggling with energy, you might find it hard to focus, leading to frustration and making things worse. Take regular short breaks, have a Juice, and you might feel better.

Undeniably, your outlook is going to need to change if you want to find energy reserves when working from home. But, as you can see, this goal is easy enough to achieve if you put your mind to it.
