Gujarat is leading in the food industry and is full of food enthusiasts. Being a Gujarati I so wanted to tell you something more about Gujarati palate and Gujaratis’ tastebuds.
We generally have Sweetness in taste because earlier in Gujarat, the primary source of drinking water was groundwater, So to nullify the salty hard water taste, our ancestors started adding jaggery or sometimes sugar which became mainstream and now we don’t like Food without the sweet taste of it.
Also have mentioned few places to find the best Gujarati delicacies in Ahmedabad.
1.Chandra Vilas Restaurant which is around 121-year-old eatery in Old City Ahmedabad which serves Ganthiya, Jalebi, Fafda and Gujarati Thali.
2. Municipal Market which is very famous for Dabeli and Ragda Pettis.

7. Das Khaman is famous for its different types of Khaman and Dhokla since 1922.
Spices used in Gujarat are varying region to region and also depend on lifestyle and weather but mainly you would find Garlic, Jaggery or sugar, Ghee, Coriander, Lemons and chillies.
Here, Meals are mostly accompanied by chaas, yoghurt, and homemade pickles.

The https://itrustyou19.com website is one of the best
we have found, and the Gujarati Cuisine and its Taste article is very well written and useful!
I want to share with you a link that also helped me a
lot in cooking: https://bit.ly/easy-fat-burning-recipes
Thanks and kisses! 🙂
Long time supporter, and thought I’d drop a comment.
Your wordpress site is very sleek – hope you don’t mind me asking what theme you’re using?
(and don’t mind if I steal it? :P)
I just launched my site –also built in wordpress like yours– but the
theme slows (!) the site down quite a bit.
In case you have a minute, you can find it by searching for “royal cbd” on Google (would
appreciate any feedback) – it’s still in the works.
Keep up the good work– and hope you all take
care of yourself during the coronavirus scare!
