So the series starts with Emily’s boss getting pregnant unexpectedly. Therefore she decides to send Emily on behalf of her to Paris. Emily gets startled by the news and immediately says yes to the opportunity and moves to the city of romance Paris. On the first day of her office, she is un-welcomed by her colleagues because of her ignorance of the French language. She feels alone in the city due to people not liking her and being mean just because she didn’t learn french before moving to the city. But soon she runs into this fun-character Mindy across the park and becomes friends with her. Another great thing happens with her in the city as she encounters her hot-chef neighbor Gabriel. With time she becomes friends with him too. Soon she manages to impress her colleagues and boss by her unique social media ideas. In this way, her life gets a little smoother. But as unpredictable life is, she runs into problems in her work but every time gets away with it because of her skills and talent.
Lily Collins did a great job playing Emily. She brought life to this character by her charm, style, and wit. Other characters like Lucas Brown, Ashley Park, Camille, didn’t have much role in the series but every time they came into the frame, they would light up the scene with their sincere performances. Hence the supporting cast did a fabulous job and thus raised the bar of the show.
