After crossing all the legal hurdles, finally, Netflix dropped its investigative docu-series Bad boy billionaire India. The series covers the trajectory of the three billionaires of India mired in money laundry cases in a 3 episode series, each of an hour.

The series doesn’t reveal anything new that wasn’t in the public domain but the content is presented in a coherent manner which is quite intriguing and will make you stick to your screens. So the first episode is about the kingfisher owner Vijay Mallya. Vijay Mallya’s episode introduced us to the lavish lifestyle he possessed since his childhood. The flamboyant personality, a national level car-racer, and an undisputed businessman,  the journey of Vijay Mallya is presented in quite a beautiful way. His undying determination of giving justice to his inherited umpire and to take it to the next level was something we didn’t know about him. The episode also features interviews with people close to him that gave some great insights about his personality and life.

Another episode is about Nirav Modi, a diamantaire, who suddenly rose to success in a very short time and became one of the popular businessmen of India. The episode about Nirav Modi presented the lives of people who got affected and the way he scammed the Punjab national bank. Nirav Modi’s personality was exactly the opposite of Vijay Mallya’s as he didn’t like to come into the spotlight but craved to lead a lavish lifestyle. His attention to detail and determination to push the technical boundaries was something that made him different from all other diamantaires. No one could ever imagine, such a hardworking, smart, and talented person could ever commit a crime of money laundering.

The last episode is about the Subrata Roy episode titled the world’s biggest family is an intriguing episode. Subrata Roy was altogether different from the above-mentioned billionaires. He didn’t try to loot or scam any banks in India, instead, he directly went to people and scammed them just to expand his own business.

These episodes will leave you furious and make you wonder how easy it is to scam Indian banks and people’s hard-earned money just because of corruption and weak laws of the Indian constitution. Bad Boy billionaire: India is a must-watch series that will educate you about the biggest scams that took place in the country. So don’t miss out on this amazingly crafted educative series of Netflix.
