Today Amazon Prime finally unveiled the trailer of the most awaited series Mirzapur Season 2. And the trailer is as expected, is full of violence, drama, action-packed and with some amazing plot twists that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
The trailer starts with the voiceover of Pankaj Tripathi. The lord of crime Kaleen Bhaiya is seen defining some rules and Munna adding more to it. While Guddu and Golu are in a mood of taking revenge from the ones who did wrong to them and want to sit on the throne of Mirzapur.
Joining the race of ruling Mirzapur is Kaleen Bhaiya’s rival Shankar Pandey’s son Sharad Shukla, Dadda Tyagi, and his grandson played by Vijay Verma. Now it will be thrilling to see who will sit on the throne and rule Mirzapur.
The trailer was power-packed with amazing performances by the cast. Whether it was Pankaj Tripathi, Devyenndu Sharma, Ali Faizal, Shweta Tripathi, or Vijay Verma, all of them looked promising in their characters. The trailer was launched in a grand virtual conference event with the whole star cast where everybody shared their bit of their experience working for season 2.
Pankaj Tripathi said in the conference that he was afraid to read his name as Kaleen Bhaiya on his boarding pass as everyone started calling him by that name after the release of Mirzapur Season 1. Ali Faizal remembered the days of shooting with Vikrant Messy and said he called him during the shoots at Lucknow where he had shot some scenes with him. Shweta Tripathi also shared her experience of training and shooting for season 2 where she had to actually learn to fire bullets from a real gun which was difficult for her because she doesn’t like violence at all.
The team seemed excited about the trailer launch and is eagerly waiting for the release of this much-awaited season 2 of Mirzapur. Season 2 will be out on October 23, 2020, and will stream on Amazon Prime Video.
