After the ban of the popular game PUBG, the Indian developers introduced many alternatives to the PUBG game or similar royal battle games. One of the developers nCore Games that announced an Indian version of PUBG mobile called FAU-G i.e Fearless And United: Guards The nCore games company will release further details and release date in the coming days.
Vishal Gondal, the CEO of GOQii said in his tweet that FAU-G is developed in response to Prime Minister’s Atma Nirbhar Bharat Campaign. Gondal further added that the team has been working actively since May-June 2020. In his tweet, he also specified that 20% of revenue will be donated to the BharatKeVeer Trust.
FAU-G game is also developed under the mentorship of Superstar Akshay Kumar. The actor gave the information regarding the game by his tweet which said that He is proud to present the action game FAU-G in response to PM’s Atmanirbhar Bharat. Besides entertainment, players will also learn about the sacrifices of our soldiers. Also, 20% of the revenue will be donated to BharatKeVeer’s trust. No details have been released about the game, but it is expected to be a multiplayer game. After Akshay Kumar’s tweet, the social media was flooded with FAU-G memes starring Akshay Kumar. The Indian audience is intrigued about how it just took 2 days to announce the Indian version of PUBG.
Many Indian developers are using the PUB-G ban as an opportunity to introduce desi alternatives to the game. Similar happened when the Indian government banned TikTok and many Indian apps like Ropaso, Mitron, and many more were introduced as a replacement to the TikTok app and thus became popular.
